Re: Is this marina still alive

What??? Text speak is as bad as 111010001001 1011 111 000 111 000 10 111 Binary. Do you remember the ZX spectrum etc which used tapes to load games? If you turned up the volume all the cats in the surrounding area would go mental and nobody knew what it was saying either - well apart from 00111 011...

oil changes

when I was using my pickup regularly for work, I used cheap 20/50 (formula one from kwiksave at £2.36 per gallon), never used flushing oil, changing both oil & filter every 4000 miles, 4000 miles however equated to every 2 to 3 weeks, depending on how busy I was! I managed to get 280,000 mile...

I don't think the structural integrity of the Marina can be doubted; it was the first BMC/BL car designed with crumple zones and the torsional stiffness of the shell was only outclassed by the Landcrab. They are a very strong structure - I have been in two smashes with Marinas (first wrote off a Fi...

Hi Ben Ihavent read most of this thred (first 3 pages). Your gearbox mounts need load spreading plats. The front mount brackets need a box comming forward to the x member, the x member needs bracing. The TC axel will not 120 bhp, i have been down this route. The halfshafts craze and fetuige at the ...
