I have a old MGA block in the shed strangely it has the fuel pump mounting cast into it and the studs but has never been drilled to take a mechanical fuel pump

The main reasons, for the cause of running on are. Retarded Ignition timing, Carbon in the cylinder head. High engine temperature. High idle speed, Air leaks in the inlet tract. The Actual cause is the hot carbon on the valves igniting the fuel without any spark. The MGB engine, was always a bit pro...

Polished the car for Tonys s show at St Helens North West Transport Museum tomorrow, fitted a power supply in the boot for my fridge. I have ordered some LED strip from ebay to make a boot light.

They were model specific with the 90deg corner moulded into them. Seem to remember slightly over length had to trim about three inches from the length.

I bought mine from East Kent Trim Supplies only do them in black but fit was good

Something a bit different today, when not playing with my Marina or MG. My other toy is a 1954 Ferguson TEF20! Not a show special but in working clothes, its been here from new. Learned to dive on it as soon as I could reach the pedals, about 7 years old I seem to recall. Had to do some Maintenance ...
