Ordered up some new number plates for Eileen the Ital, gone for period-correct black on white/yellow raised riveted with bevelled edge plates.

Apparently in Thailand, where this odd creation is from, there's a strange subculture of modding older cars to look modern or putting modern running gear in them. It reminds me of that advert where the Indian guy makes his Hindustan Ambassador look like a Pugeot.

Found this rather odd Rover Allegro on Facebook. It certainly goes to show you can make an older car look much more modern than it is if you're crazy enough.
