Thanks Chris. I will try two rectangular ones and see how they feel.

My 1.8 has one rectangular engine mounting (offside) and one vee shaped one. Am I right in assuming they should be the same, i.e. two rectangular types? The engine does seem to wobble more than I would expect as is. Thanks in advance for any help.

The photos of this car really took me back to my youth. My first car was a TC saloon which I thought was black tulip but turned out to be midnight blue. Reg GKX 867K. Look forward to seeing this one when its' restored.
