Re: CAR INSURANCE
I'm with Lancaster. I'm currently insuring 3 cars with them on a multicar policy. Cheaper than insuring two last year! You get a discount for being a car club member too. 3k limited miles and sdp & commuting allowed as long as you also own a main use daily modern. Keen priced and good service. T...

Re: New Club Mag - Jubilee Picture on rear!
My own Citron TC had a similar back end.
Being a run out mk1 it had the bumpy valance, front antiroll bar mounts with the mounted reverse lamps and mk2 rear screen seal

Re: Forums or Facebook?
I use both.
However this is far superior on here.
No trolls and knowledgeable people who actually know what they're talking about.
FB is good to post pics, announce news and events and to wind Josh up!

Escort/Capri .

Re: Classic Tyres
If love some Sp Sport aquajets...
But can't justify the price.
I ended up with some Toyo 165/70x13 that look a bit like Michelin MX so just on the cusp of very last Ital production.
I have to say.... they perform very well

Re: 1.8HL auto - update
Just a quick note slightly related. Early Mk1 cars have an extra rubber hose that goes from the tank to the metal vent which travels up into and back out of the boot area. I'd done all my hoses but completely forgot about this. I'll be going this but may need to drop the tank to do so. It doesn't ca...

Re: Another Marina story from journalists without a clue
If you get anything slightly wrong with the engine. It's almost terminal. Modern stop start technology causes many problems with oils which burn and carbonise wrecking bearings and turbos on these. I always switch it off in.my own...keeps the oil circulating, cooling and protecting Sent from my SM-G...

Re: Another Marina story from journalists without a clue
Having had a number of PSA cars and fords running PSA diesel engines I can honestly say that they seem to make the best in oil burners. Even the troublesome HDI which I ran up to 480k which loved cambelt... Though if it went, you only need change the rockers only. The Ford 1.8 tdci with its 2nd camb...

Re: BL show 6th September
I'll be bringing some spares booty and a number of Workshop manuals donated to the club by John Lawson. They cover many BL cars so I'll put them out around the arena... a quid or so will get some extra money for the club panel funds. Still 3 sets of spot brackets left . A wooden dash and a recon 1.3...
