I have fitted several sets of First line ones the quality is good got them both my Marina and MGB also set on mates MGC think they were all same part number to be honest

Not sure what you mean by hot box. I am thinking the box on exhaust manifold with a large hole in it should be connected via a pipe and thermostatic valve to air filter to stop carburettor icing

I cant personally say I have tried any E10 in either Marina or MGB as both still have E5 and are now tucked up for winter Same goes for my mower. Suspect will have to fiddle with Timing/Mixture next year then
