Re: Engine rebuild - cam choice?
I've got a 285 cam in mine and a Burgess fast road head (standard fast road version with the larger factory inlet valve) on an 1860. Re: Someone save this 1973 Marina TC Auto, Please!
It was originally for sale for £500, bought and offered for several thousand £ on eBay. It’s rare car, but my guess is that you’ll need £5000 for welding and a respray. I prefer them in their working clothes, myself. A bit of grey primer and a driveway resto type job is how I do things haha [emoji2...

Re: What did you do to your Marina today?
You're the first person to actually test one so I hope it works OK!
They seem to be getting harder to find (we only have a limited stock of the old stock ones) so definitely worth keeping the rebuildable types- hopefully ethanol proof diaphragms will start being more available for these.

Re: Lock Barrels and key for Door handles
Hi Graham, I on't believe they're readily available although someone will prove me wrong. However, the barrels are numbered on the back- or at least they are on my Mk1- and I bought keys against the number from eBay, although they're not the same blank- original type blanks are out there though. If ...

Re: MARINA FRONT PANEL
Not that I've got one, but which panel do you mean Mick? There's the valence behind the bumper which has a separate crossmember behind, the slam panel that the bonnet catch mounts to and a pair of headlamp panels. I suspect it might be a case of "all of the above"!

Great progress Lee, looks really smart.
I assume the plan is new shells (since you're in that far) but to standard size?

These come around every now and again; it won't make any odds. We're lucky that it's rolling again to be honest and 40 seems a pretty reasonable number to me.

Re: Front and Rear Screen Rubbers
They've got a Coupe rear screen rubber as a template Matt but if you find any estate rear or rear side rubbers let us know as we (I!) want to look into getting them done as well.
