British Leyland Cars

A good 1980s documentary about British Leyland on Youtube. Comparisons between different car manufacturers is eye watering. Air tools vs ratchet screw drivers to fit locks! Worth a watch: BL Cars documentary

The money seemed to go to the men in suits instead of the equipment and techniques the workers needed.
I like the spy who takes apart other makers cars for their ideas and secrets, he looked like someones uncle who just messed about with cars a bit.
Such a shame how the industry went and all the small companies who must have also gone if they did not diversify away from Leyland in time. Eggs in one basket is not good.
