Re: What did you do to your Marina today?
I think Renzo’s plan is to keep his Jubilee in the UK until he can bring his family over for next year’s Nationals.
Re: What did you do to your Marina today?
Well mine has just recently been moved again to it’s new sick bay for treatment! (Engine!) so hopefully I can get my old original one rebuilt over winter and pop it in.JubileeNut wrote:Thanks Fruity. As next year is a big year for the Marina, wonder what the chances are for getting more than 2 Jubilees at the same event? It will depend on where if Chris Wilson will go. I know he used to drive to Peterborough and stay with friends. Then there is yours, and Lorenzo's if it is still in the UK. God knows where the others are.
Estate is out and jubilee is in.

That would be great as I don't think there has been an event with 3 Jubilees yet. Had 2 a few times.
Like your Garage Fruity, If you can just transport the garage here I would be most grateful

Had a nice drive back to South Yorkshire after a week in North Wales. Clocked up about 600 miles including a couple of runs over the Llanberis and the Nant Francon passes. Probably the hardest for both car and driver was a trip from Caenarfon to Harlech via the A4085 which is a narrow and twisting road with some steep hairpin bends.

Finally reassembled the complete new rear bumper for tara, what a difference the new bumpers make.
Need to rebuild the front suspension soon too and fit my telescopics

Cheers Barry, yes that would've been at Criccieth on the promenade. As we got there what looked like a local Mini club were just leaving, including a cool Metro with wide wheels.MARINAMADBAZ wrote: ↑Sun Aug 09, 2020 11:35 am yea your car was seem on a fb page parked up at a seaside spot

The next beach along, Black Rock sands, people drive onto the beach to park, I'm not sure I'd like to park the Marina on the beach, imagine all the sand sticking to the grease on the front suspension.
Might be good to recreate the original "Beauty with Brains Behind it" Marina advert though!

Nice one Barry. Those wheels with the larger tyres really make a big difference to the apearance of the Ital don't they? Looks like a real executive class saloon.
You must have two of the coolest Itals around. In fact it should be "ITALMADBAZ" now!

yes your right Tony
I've got more Ital''s then marina's (4 ital's)
I think the tr7 alloys suit the car and in period with the car
shame bl never offered the top model ital with alloys they did with the vp ambassador same era
I've got 3 sets of tr7 alloys
my red ital wears a set as well

Great looking car that one Barry. I'm not normally a fan of the TR7 alloys but they really suit the black car.

I remember you posting that you'd seen my car. I think Josh told you that it was mine. Whereabouts did you take the pics?Gee tc wrote: ↑Sat Aug 29, 2020 5:15 pmI got pics of you on you're last N Wales holiday a few years back..ScreamingLordStokes wrote:Had a nice drive back to South Yorkshire after a week in North Wales.
