Amazing result, certainly didn't expect these to be available off the shelf. Mind you looking at the shipping time, six or seven weeks they must be made to order.
Crikey, that's some description! Anyone read German?
It will be interesting to see how they fit.
Who's going to be the guinea pig and get them first?

Yes - I contacted the company asking for a price for a batch, but it seems that they prefer to cut the club out and sell direct.

Looks like the eBay vendor isn’t linked to LOKARI, so maybe just a very long coincidence. Can’t afford to buy a pair at the moment.

The protectors are aluminium profiled to fit the wheel well. They have a rubber edge seal which it seems you bond to the Marina wheel arch. They say that for countries who use winter salt, you need to use a layer of under seal on the aluminium as the salt will eat the aluminium.

LOKARI have come back to me finally and I have asked for a price for 5 units delivered to the UK, to see if there is a financial advantage for bulk buying against individual purchase.

Perhaps the club could buy some as a job lot?
Knock them out for a small profit?

That’s exactly what I have been looking into. Lokari don’t offer much discount on their standard prices, their saving on bulk postage is greater than the club discount.

I think that there are two viable ways,

1. Take pre-order payments and order from Lokari, their minimum bulk/club order is 10 units. Then of course once in the UK there would have to be UK postage to the buyer, I think that the overall saving could be as little as £2-3 a set.

2. Find a UK business to design/make polyethylene (PE) wheel arch liners. They would be a lot cheaper, but we would have to factor in the cost of making the molds. To do this we would need to pre-sell a batch or most of a batch as storage would be a challenge.

Finding a UK supplier will take some time and the prototype and mold making even longer, so if you want wheel-arch liners now, I think realistically the quickest way is to buy via eBay.

I’ll keep you posted on progress on finding a UK supplier.
