The wagon has had the Aussie diff fitted ( ratio unknown ) & the front is still English but has had Leyland discs fitted.
The gearbox will be a 3sp auto & tailshaft will cope with the 8.
iirc Kilroy lowered his auto wagon 2" and the BW 65 has taken a few smacks and had the oil filler tube smashed off by a rock. THink it hangs down lower than the manual box.
iirc the Aussie diff is either 3.89 (4 cylinder with one tramp rod) or 3.70 (6 cylinder with 2 tramp rods), but could have a non standard ratio. Only way to be sure is either to take the cover off and count the teeth, or rotate the pinion and count how many times the wheel rotates.

We all use tractor paint to paint our rally cars, it's dead cheap, dries really hard and is easy to use. We regularily re-spray our cars and they look pretty good.
