New owner- where to buy bits?

Post by Lecozens » Fri May 06, 2016 8:45 pm

Hi,

I recently became the owner of my very own Marina :-D . As a whole she is in pretty good nick for a 43 year old lady.

However there are a few pieces I need to get to repair a few things. other than Ebay where is the best bit to pick up little things? specifically the bits I need are an internal light and a window winder.

Cheers in advance

Lewis

Window winder (handle) same as mgb - internal light same as TR7.

If unsure just ask and someone is always on hand to help you out. Some members have spares they sell (new and second hand), so always worth a post!

Always worth a try here. Plenty of hoarders or nods in right direction.

Thank you very much for the offer 1972tccoupe, I have managed to find a handle on ebay using beniboyz advice!
Just need to find an internal light as the ones on ebay don't look like my broken one.

One source is Earlpart. Expensive, and their list does not represent stock.

You can replace the lenses individually, piece by piece. Each MK has different lenses to a greater or lesser extent, which model have you got?

This EBay search covers all the rear Marina lenses right now.

Rear lamps are dead easy to clean up. Spray the metal unit silver, clean the lenses up with some warm soapy water, the rubbers have usually gone hard but T Cut gets rid of all the muck. New bezels are very rare and they don't always last long before they start to discolour.
