Re: Summer Understeer
The first classic car club magazine I was a recipient of was the Vauxhall Viva Owners Club magazine. I was in that club approximately 2003-2005 and I still have quite a collection of those mags. I think they were bi-monthly. Quite large and well produced but only the first issue I got was in colour. They are the only club mag I've hung onto once I left. I owned a very rough and cheap HB when in the club but my historical connection with Vivas was an HC owned when I passed my test in 1980.
I've been in the Mk 1-5 Cortina Owners Club, Triumph 2000-2500 Register, and the British Mini Club. Understeer, which I've just started receiving, seems to be the best produced and most interesting of all the club magazines I've had, with only the Viva club magazine coming close.
Pity I didn't know about the availability of club coolant hoses before my first sample copies arrived....the ones I bought off eBay arrived the day before! They're okay though...OE Unipart in good nick.

Re: Summer Understeer
Thanks! Having only ever been a member of the Marina club, Capri International and the Stag Club, I can't say I've seen that many publications to compere Understeer too. I tend to put in what I would want to read, and try to include as many members stories as possible. Feel free to email with your own story sometime.mickthefitter wrote:The first classic car club magazine I was a recipient of was the Vauxhall Viva Owners Club magazine.
