Thanks Chris, thats where parts of your seats went. I still need to replace the wings, but that will be the back end of the year.

Fuel gauge decided to play up on A258 BRB my green 2.0 ital it worked then didnt and decided not to work at all. i earthed the fuel sender wire in the boot and the gauge shot up so i knew the gauge was ok,so before i took the sender out i decided that i would earth just incase it had a bad earth.i cleaned the metal fuel feed pipe on the sender put a jubilee clip with a wire attached on the pipe and feed this wire into the boot floor with the original wire i earthed it to a good earth and hey presto my fuel gauge is working again :-D

Nice! Fancied a 13 ball myself, but it's orange, so probably wouldn't get away with that round where I live...

tie bar bushes were on the menu this weekend first super-flex upgrade dismantled it and noticed how bad the ends were so out with the welder on probably one of the hottest days of the year so far, took a while to get it fitting the bush properly again! quite happy with how they come out!
after that i moved onto new brake pads and re bleeding the system as iv been having a lot of issues loosing brakes and with seizing calipers found a copper washer missing from the banjo on the inlet manifold and plenty of air in the front brake lines quick adjustment of the rear shoes and where are off again the brake peddle is best its been and finally feeling the worth of the braided hoses all in all happy with the 575 again dreaded mot on the horizon should sail through but will definitely needs a timing chain casing oil seal replacing at some point not leaking to bad just yet :-D

Along with a number of other cars, BL hung the heater on a piece of string and built the car round it.

It's not as bad as it looks to do really, I've done a few over the years. Much easier than when I did the one in my SD1.
