I've always liked this one. I see it still has the dash trim I made for it
Re: Bop 92k - back on the road
This reappeared on ebay again over night. I spotted it at about 6.30 this morning as I was having a browse before anybody else in the house got up. I had a quick look at how I could get to Boston from Paisley on the trainline website and decided I would have a punt on this one as I had always liked it and it's story. Clicked back to ebay and it was gone!
The same as last time on for a few hours and gone for the same selling price! I wonder if it will appear again in the future?

Just watched a youtube video of the lady owner of this car changing the cylinder head gasket on this with a burnt out exhaust valve.

Oh thats a bugger seized engine never good news.. Unusual for a A Series though they normally keep going when well worn Main bearing rumble and oil burning seems most common failure points have seen a odd timing chain snap on mini and Morris 1000

Yes it takes a lot to stop an A Series. This was the no. 1 piston in my Pickup when I bought it. She was still running on the other three cylinders, after the piston rings made a bid for freedom.
