Morris 1700

Post by locost_bryan » Thu Aug 13, 2020 4:28 am

This brochure for the Morris 1700 is for sale on TradeMe in NZ. Curiously, I thought New Zealand was the only market that dropped the Marina name from the Mk3, but this is an English "export market" brochure with illustrations of lhd cars. Were they sold on the Continent as Marina or 1700?

Maybe they had a photo of a RHD car and just flipped the image as they thought it looked better on the front page?

There were also some poor quality images of other pages of the brochure, which had photos of both lhd and rhd interiors, and photos of cars taken in front of an English Tudor building

The Tara Green one appears in several media sites when the subject of Marina comes up
