Paul its a shame for it to have been neglected being a rare car to start with, I see its lost its fog lamps and its black door mirrors.

Hi Ivor, yes, it is missing some Jubilee items. But I am sure they can be sourced.

Hi Matt, I think its all the time at home at the moment and knowing I have a few spares which would look nice on it. Either that or I have gone mad?
Are you thinking of moving your one on now they are so common place?

I think the differing reverse lights and rear panel will have been altered in factory for evaluation purposes for MK2 version then sold off to employee as shop soiled. So could be interesting history

Hi Paul, you are probably just as mad as the rest of us! Yes,I would move it on from a practical point if anything.

Hi Matt, What does it need to finish it?
Must have most of it done?

Dave, My original Jubilee had the bumpy rear valance the same as pictured with reversing lamps in the rear trim. I have seen a mixture of both in Jubilees.
But none with the to modern rear lamps fitted.

It is mostly done Paul.I'm not going to get it finished so it might make more sense to let someone else take it on. ::(:

Hi Matt,
Was the main chassis in good nick when you got hold of the car?
I.e. was it better than mine?
Are there any parts or bits which are a problem to find or is it just getting some time to finish it?
I bet you are more busy now you have semi retired

Hi Paul
The chassis is good. All the bits are there including quite a few n/o/s items.I don't have the skills to finish it.It's stored in a dry garage with limited access.

My 1975 1.8 SDL Mk1 had the modern integral reversing lights and bumpy valence. I think it was registered 1/8/75 on the ‘P’ plate but was obviously built earlier. Doesn’t it count in this discussion because it wasn’t a Jubilee?

The rear lamps changed over to integrated with reversing lamps around 1975 I think as some Late MK1s had them so I call these MK1.5s as they are not MK11s, but a Jubilee was well before those lamps were fitted to Marina's so should be either below the bumper or in the lamp panel trim.

Only in my sleep at the moment ;-)
I would need a dry place to store it and currently don't have a second garage.
A garage down here is the price of a small house for a family of 3!
I am waiting for my numbers to come in.
I might speed things up after my BMW goes in for service next week. Marinas are far cheaper to run and I don't have an idiot servicing it. BMW seem to have trouble putting self tapper screws in an under tray and fitting the plastic engine cover so, I don't have much hope when they do more taxing repairs!!

My own Citron TC had a similar back end.
Being a run out mk1 it had the bumpy valance, front antiroll bar mounts with the mounted reverse lamps and mk2 rear screen seal
