Re: New Club Mag
Well, lots of 'how to do it' articles, the club telescopic conversion kit, another super installment of Marina/BL history from our club archivist....an overview of the upcoming club national rally....am I getting any warmer?

Re: New Club Mag
On P29 there’s a picture (right side) of the failed clutch cylinder assembly. May I ask what is the spring clip around the barrel with a tail over the mounting eye? Thank you.

Re: New Club Mag
Could possibly be a MoProd slave cylinder, they are held in place with a spring clip.
Re: New Club Mag
Thanks I wondered that but wasn’t sure as the Moprod ones I have seen pictures of ( never seen one in real life) have been shinier than the cast ones but this one looks like it’s been there a while. I wonder why the Moprod ones didn’t catch on- would make so much easier perhaps. There might be a lip in the photo like the cast ones have? Thanks again.

Re: New Club Mag
No it’s a standard cast iron Lockheed slave cylinder, the clip is an anti-rattle clip/spring fitted the later cars by BL. The clip will fit any standard cast iron clutch slave any model, any year.marina12 wrote: ↑Sun May 15, 2022 3:29 pm Thanks I wondered that but wasn’t sure as the Moprod ones I have seen pictures of ( never seen one in real life) have been shinier than the cast ones but this one looks like it’s been there a while. That's interesting Chris, not seen one of those before. Is that BL admitting that the original Marina clutch slave fitment was a bit of Ill conceived design then?
