Does anyone have any tricks of the trade to clean these items ?
My ones on the Jubilee are quite dirty
Can they be bought new from a supplier
Thanks

I use Milton Fluid, used for cleaning baby stuff, together with glass container cleaning balls, which are little copper balls like lead shot, but reusable. I steal my wife’s ones that she uses to cleaning flower vases. The opaque/white plastic comes up a treat, just swill them round and then strain them off and rinse them.

You could try putting them in the dishwasher if you have one.

I put a brass one off a MGB on my car as I was concerned that not only the plastic was dirty but had gone brittle after 40 years of hot cold cycles and didnt want it to split the plastic radiator plug was changed to brass for the same reason

Hi David,
I realise this reply is a few months after the fact... You mention you changed your radiator plug for a brass one. Do you know where I can purchase a new radiator plug from?
Cheers
