Ahaha I would love, but this year is impossible, I need to open my engine first... It has 200.000 from new (never opened), its very reliable(besides the oil leaking

), but I dont trust it for a jouney like that

There are some 1.3 coupes and sallons (not more than 20, only like 5 in circulation) and one diesel green pick up!
1.8 I have seen 1 saloon years ago in a scrapyard but i think it doesn´t exist anymore... besides that one there is mine ( the blaze one in the photos) one gray coupe that is for sale (
http://quarteira-faro.olx.pt/morris-mar ... -181993078) and that one in the magazine(TC) !
The result of the test I don´t know but the title translated to English is something like "Golf vs Marina, the unfairest comparison ever" let´s hope its not a tendentious article
Last month I put my pedal down against a mk1 golf cabrio and he couldn´t pass hehe 8)
But that TC is very competitive, I haven´t seen the car live but some one told me that that the suspension is a swap from a mk2 escort... I don´t know, when I get the magazine wednesday I will tell you something!
Cheers

				The headline :-
o comparativo mais injusto de sempre (Portuguese)
the most unfair comparison ever (English)
How true!

Unfair to the GTI of course!

Actually there used to be quite a lot of British vehicles in Portugal - I remember an article about some AEC double decker buses in Lisbon, they were halfcabs but looked wierd as they were left hand drive so were a mirror image of the traditional Brit half cab.

Finaly I have the magazine in my hands!!
Great article! The marina won

This magazine used to ridicule marinas, so its quite nice to see an article like this! The marina only lost in the "economy test" (its less expensive to have a competitive golf gti than a marina)... In the performance test the golf haven´t got any chances when the engine is in high rotation!
This car have 3 schocks per front wheel (wow!) escort rs dif and the engine is about 150 hp!!! the owner said that its probaly not the nicest marina in the world but sure its the most expensive

The magazine also have a special surprise article that I will post on the "rally cars secion" 8) some photos of the BL Portugal rally Marinas, and some outside marinas that compete at portugal´s 70´s rallys!
I am full of work right now, but when i have got the time I will post the photos and some brief translation of both articles!
Cheers!
