Checked oil and coolant, then drove back to Sheffield from Scarborough where myself and the family have enjoyed a few scorching days at the seaside Proper work for a Marina

Come on then, let's see some seaside Marina snaps!

Actually Josh, this isn't Scarborough, its Porth Tre Castell in North Wales, from earlier this summer. I didn't take any of the Marina in Scarborough as she was parked in a backstreet behind the B&B (getting a parking spot is tricky there, so when you do get one its best to keep it for the duration).

Re: What did you do to your Marina today?
I just moved mine off the drive so that I could get the wifes car on the drive to replace a CV joint and boots. Once that was done it got kicked off the drive and the Marina got its space back

Modified N/S engine mount to clear block hugger manifold.. Found another job to do under the wheel arch that will involve an M10 nut and my Mig. Loving this project more and more :-)

Today I wiped up the oil leaked by my golf convertible (sorry) stored in the garage space whilst at the nationals, and put another coat of paint on the garage floor.I can recomend painting your floor it realy keeps the dust down!

Re: What did you do to your Marina today?
I had the new Pickup brought back from Norfolkshire on a trailer today, here she is tucked up in her new storage unit.
I'll remove the battery and sheet her over at the weekend.

Re: What did you do to your Marina today?
Very nice
Oh Paul told me tonight that your heater hoses are in perfect condition and that if he sees you buying a pair at Peterborough he will pinch them for me
I spent today rustproofing the rear arches, I decided to use cavity wax first to get into any seams before coating with underbody wax. Afraid I didn't get any pictures, will post some tomorrow. Running low on Dinitrol now, I bought enough for a 'large' car (marketed as Granada/XJ6 etc), I'm obviously being over generous
Also finished top coating the radiator and mounting brackets so I will fit those in the car tomorrow along with the fuel tank and give the fuel line a blowout with a compressor and put a fresh filter in. I will also run some carb cleaner through as the float bowl has some crud in it (previous owner used to run it with the flake fuel tank nearly empty), I might also start stripping down and rebuilding the rear brakes so I can get the rear wheels back on and then jack up on the rear axle to start rustproofing the rear spring hangers/jacking points, and maybe a bit of ignition system servicing if I have the time.

Re: What did you do to your Marina today?
I painted half my garage floor and now most has peeled off. It was meant to be good stuff to so I am just going to seal the floor and put flexi tiles down which lock together to form a thick plastic flooring.
Although I did seal it before as required for some reason the garage floor still bleeds salt crystals so I guess it was laid on soil?
These tile should fix it. Link
