Hi.
Probably been asked before but are the fixing points on Marinas, with Chrome Bumpers, the same as those on MK3 Marinas with the plastic ends.
My Plastic ends are all distorted, broken, tired etc plus I am missing one.
OK not authentic, but am considering replacing my MK 3 pressed steel bumpers for MK1/2 Chromes. I presume a straight swap ...........Or are they?

Re: plastic bumper end cap
From memory no the bumper irons are different, but I think that if you fit chrome bumpers , the chassis ends of the bumper irons are the same. So use the chrome bumper irons. You then have to revise the indicator and sidelight location.

Thanks Marina Coupe for the reply.
Sorry so long in relying went under my radar. Thought about the bumpers again today so looked on the forum, forgetting I have already asked the question. Given the cost of Chrome bumpers might not consider a swap, although the engineering would not be too difficult.
Have to keep looking!
I have repaired the existing end caps but need a rear offside as that is completely missing!
