The studs are the same as MGB, the manifold itself is slightly different, but will fit, I have one on my SDL Coupe.

Not a Direct fit.
This is why:
MGB exhaust manifold.

(Picture borrowed from Gee tc as an illustration purpose. Hope you dont mind :shifty: )
The TC inlet manifold has two ports underneath so you'll need change both at most.

They aren't ports running from the exhaust to the inlet manifold, they are extra mounts locking the two manifolds together. This aids heat transfer to the inlet air/fuel mix.

I'll repeat what I said earlier I used MGB manifolds on my SDL Coupe and they work fine.

The two extra ports are what Chris says they are called hot spots their funcion is to stop carb icing in very cold damp weather but in the real world its not a problem on the origonal MGB fitment the air filter intakes point towards the exhaust manifold and draws inwarm air accordingly on the origonal TC air filter runs over ther rocker cover and draws cold air from the other side of the engine Hence the need for Hot Spots

managed to get the manifold so its usable, ordered an mgb down pipe but it seems to sit really low? like 6 inches off the floor, is there any ajustment if i loosen the flange bolts? or will it break the seal?

The MGB down pipes are longer. You can fit them (I did) and then take it for a good drive getting it stinking hot and then use a trolley jack under the pipes the ease them up without splitting or denting them.

The other option us to buy a NOS Marina TC one at a autojumble or EBay.

GES in Devon make a stainless steel Marina TC version which fits very well and is the right hight. They give a 17.5% discount for club members.
